(Requires Real Player) These sporrans are more for working than for formal occasions. As with leather, deerhide is thought to be more suitable for daywear. These are sewn and laced by hand by the two of us, are lined with suede, have a suede pocket and no raw seams. Rob Roy sporrans are drawstring pouches, with leather thongs and antler pulls. They are the roomiest of all our styles. Weighted Flap sporrans are simply that – they have no snaps, toggles or other type of fastener. Therefore, they can be opened and closed with one hand, making them practical for many situations. They are the least roomiest of our styles, because they can’t be stuffed full. The flap has to be able to drop down cleanly.
