These purses are clutch purses, yet they also have two loops of leather thong in the back for belt loops. This way you can wear a belly clutch purse on your belt as a belly pack. If you remove the belt loops [easily untied] you will have a more conventional clutch purse. The stone weight in front will hold down the flap -- > or lock it in place, depending on how you loop the stone weight around the tartan loop.
