This deerhide pouch is 8" wide and 8" tall, and has a leather thong drawstring with antler pulls. Another leather thong goes around the antler toggle button.

We occasionally make this sporran out of Elkhide instead of deer. The design on the laced leather shield can be a large Rampant Lion, a small Rampant Lion surrounded by Celtic knots or a Zoomorphic Fox from the ancient Book of Kells.

To make them even stronger and sturdier that the other ones we make, the Rob Roy Sporrans are really two sporrans put together: a suede one inside, a deerhide [or elkhide] one outside.

Across the inside above the shield, we have laced a key hook for your convenience.
